On 26-27 December, around 150 participants attended the symposium. The keynote speaker, Dr. Iwao Ohmine, Director General from National Institute of Natural Science, Institute for Molecular Science delivered a lecture on "light and water" spreading his arms.

The 3rd Science English vocabulary contest was held.
