Dr. Nobel's lecture

Dr. Michael Nobel delivered a lecture entitled "The innovative genius of the Nobel Brothers and the Nobel Prizes." Over 200 participants including Japanese, international students and academic staffs listened to the valuable lecture.

World Solar Challenge in Australia

NITech Solarcar Club joined the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge for the first time, held in Australia at October 18-25, 2015. The solar car achieved 3,000 km run across the desert from Darwin to Adelaide.

The police officers delivered the safety seminar. The freshmen were excited about four fellow students' performance of self-defense derived from judo when the judo-clothing police officer gave lessons of how to escape from an opponent.

NIEWS - human-powered aircraft study group of NITech - joined the Japan International Birdman Rally. NIEWS aircraft achieved its 755 meters flight over the Biwa Lake in Shiga-pref.

Donation Box for Nepal

NITech set donation boxes at campus to support Nepal, where disastrous earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8M killed over 9,000 people and injured more than 23,000.

Last day of winter - Setsubun

February 3rd is Setsubun day, that is the last day of winter in the traditional Japanese calendar. On Setsubun day, people make a sushi roll that is eaten in one while facing toward the year's "lucky" direction. 2015's direction is west-southwest.
