12 students and the supervising faculty member in Gas Engineering Department of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), one of our Exchange Partner Universities, visited Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) on 28th and 29th June.

UTM and NITech have been exchanging the researchers or the students actively through having international seminars, joint research, and so on since concluding the exchange agreement on 29th June 2006.
During their stay, as a campus tour, they visited and observed the Information Technology Center, the University Library and the laboratories in the related fields. And they also had a joint seminar which was organized by Prof. Soga who is in charge of the academic exchange agreement with UTM. In the evening, an exchange party was held. The students of UTM, NITech International Students from Malaysia, Japanese NITech students, and the relevant faculty members attended the party.
The next day, they went to SOLAR ARK, Solor Enegy Museum in Gifu for study visit.
It is expected that the academic exchanges or collaboration research between the two universities will be further facilitated through this opportunity.
