On 1st March, Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) held an exchange dinner party with Malaysia Alumni to celebrate the grand opening of NITech Liaison Office at UiTM.
The Malaysia Alumni Association was launched in 2010 and that was our second time to have an exchange party.

About 20 people from the association attended the party. Furthermore, we invited some honored guests from Embassy of Japan in Malaysia including Mr. Akira SATO (the Counselor), Mr. Ken KASAI (the First Secretary) and also invited Ms. Kyoko OKUBO (the Senior Representative of JICA Malaysia Office). From NITech, the President Dr. TAKAHASHI, Prof. IWAMOTO (the Director of NIT International Center) and Prof. SOGA (the Head of NITech Liaison Office at UiTM) joined the party.

After the NITech President Dr. TAKAHASHI, reported the establishment of the NITech Liaison Office, Dr. Ahmad Shuhaimi Bin Abu Bakar, Malaysia Alumni President, gave us a presentation about current situation of the Alumni Association and also other NITech alumni from Malaysia spoke Japanese fluently and explained the researches which they conducted when they were students. Then, Prof. IWAMOTO, the Director of NIT International Center, also gave us a presentation. He presented a summary about current circumstances of NITech and also introduced the renovated University Hall, renowned researchers graduating from NITech, and some of the world-famous research fields of NITech. All of the alumni listened attentively to the explanations.
