The assembly of Malaysia Alumni Association was held on October 29th, 2018 at the Pulai Spring Resort in Johor Bahr.

The assembly participants were approximately 10 Malaysian graduates and researchers and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) ; Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail and the Chair of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; Prof. Dr. Mohd Hasbullah Idris, from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

From NITech, 6 faculties and staff members including the Vice-president in charge of International Affairs; Prof. Iwamoto, the Director of Education Center for International Students; Prof. Yamamoto, the Director of NITech Liaison Office in Malaysia; Prof. Soga , and the Special Advisor to the President; Prof. Tanemura participated in the gathering.

Following speech by Prof. Fauzi and Prof. Iwamoto, the participants shared about themselves and updated the current news, and deepened their relationships during the gathering.
