I sincerely thank the donors of the Emily & Emile Scholarship for their generous support. It is a great honor to receive this scholarship and continue my doctoral research. My research focuses on explainability in deepfake detection. While many models detect manipulated videos accurately, their decisions are often difficult to interpret. I study how detection-related evidence develops over time in a video and propose a framework, DeepForensiX, to analyze this temporal behavior in a structured manner. The scholarship has reduced my financial burden and allowed me to focus fully on my research. I am deeply grateful for your support and will continue advancing trustworthy AI systems for society.

エミリー＆エミール奨学金のご支援を賜り、心より感謝申し上げます。 私は現在、博士後期課程において、都市街路の安全感知評価に関する研究に取り組んでおります。研究に全力で向き合いたい一方で、生活面の不安があると、どうしても研究時間や集中力が分散してしまいます。エミリー＆エミール奨学金のご支援により、経済的負担が大きく軽減され、研究に専念できる環境を整えることができました。 その結果、奨学金受給期間中に研究成果を着実にまとめ、論文を2本発表することができました。いただいたご厚意に深く感謝するとともに、今後もより良い研究成果を積み重ね、社会に貢献できるよう努めてまいります。
