Delegates from Mongolia visited NITech

On May 29, Mr. Demberel Namsrai and Ms. Sukhbaatar Sergelen, Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Mongolia visited Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) and had meetings with Vice-President Dr. Ido and some faculty members.
The purpose of this visit was to discuss the Mongolia-Japan Engineering Education Development Project (M-JEED) between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of Mongolia.
By strengthening the functions of higher education engineering institutions in Mongolia and providing exchanges to Japan, M-JEED will train industrial engineering human resources, thereby fostering and strengthening industry toward economic growth in Mongolia.
This project will conduct an international joint education program (twinning programs at Japanese universities) and an educator training program along with providing teaching and research equipment.
The focus of the meeting concerned curriculum, entrance examination and faculty exchange under the twinning programs at NITech.
After meeting the delegates also made a campus tour of International House and laboratory with a Mongolian student who is currently studying at NITech.
