First, the new international students learned important matters of life in Japan, necessary public procedures to be followed, and campus facilities. Students Assistants (S/A) sat with them to give a helping hand for understanding. Second, the police officers from the nearest police station delivered the safety seminar. The students got important points of traffic rules and safety measures. The students were excited about four fellow students' performance of self-defense derived from judo when the judo-clothing police officer gave lessons of how to escape from an opponent.
The guidance was translated into Chinese and English at the same time.
