On December 14, 2022, deputy director, senior administrator, and faculty member from the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, Chair Prof., Dean of College of Engineering, Shu-San Hsiau and Prof. Chih-Ang Chung from National Central University, Distinguished Prof., Dean of Faculty of Systems Engineering, Ching-Yao Chen from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Distinguished Prof., Dean of Research and Development Department, Shou-Yin Yang from National Formosa University, and Assoc. Prof. Ming-Hsun Wu from National Cheng Kung University visited NITech.
Vice President Prof. Yasushi Ido gave a presentation on the overview and initiative of Nagoya Institute of Technology. Also, the deputy director of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan explained about "Net-Zero Emissions Plan", which Taiwan is working on as a national project. This project aims to promote technological research and development and innovation in the key areas and transition to greener by 2050. Pursuant to this national project, the Taiwan Ministry of Education is working on "The talent cultivation of sustainable energy interdisciplinary application project".
After exchanging the gifts with Vice President Prof. Ido, they visited Prof. Ido Laboratory and Prof. Yuji Iwamoto Laboratory.
