CNRS is France's largest government basic research institute, and many of the principal researchers of the CNRS serve as faculty at the University of Limoges and ENSIL-ENSCI.
NITech and the University of Limoges concluded an academic exchange agreement in 2003, and to date, more than 200 faculty members and 40 students have exchanged.
In 2019, under the framework of the IRP (International Research Project) supported by the CNRS, the IRCER, the University of Limoges and NITech began promoting joint research work and deepening student exchanges between the two universities.
