On February 20, 2025 (Thursday), Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Technology and Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mohd Fadzli Bin Abdollah, and Head of Program, Faculty of Mechanical Technology and Engineering, Dr. Hilmi Bin Amiruddin of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) visited NITech.

UTeM was founded in 2000, as a National Technical Univerity College of Malaysia, and has been a growth remarkably to become a renowned university dealing with many cutting-edge technologies in the field of engineering in just a quarter of a century.

 In 2023, NITech and UTeM concluded Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation, and have been promoting joint research as well as faculty and student exchanges, through various exchange programs such as "Sakura Science Exchange Program" of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), etc.

During the meeting, after the introduction of each university, there was an exchange of views about international collaborations through student mobility programs and research matching grants. There was an internal research meeting with Assoc. Prof. HONDA Mitsuhiro in the afternoon.

In the future, it is expected that this visit will deepen exchanges between the two universities more.
