Global

Publishing : May 28, 2025

Two technical staff members from Szechenyi Istvan University in Hungary (hereinafter referred to as "the university") visited Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) on May 12th and 13th, 2025.

On May 12th, we introduced our university to them, and they also participated in a campus tour led by some NITech students. This was a valuable opportunity for them to know about NITech, and for the NITech students to interact with them.

On May 13th, they observed a class "Advanced Theory of Knowledge Representation" taught by Professor INUZUKA Nobuhiro, who is the director of Creative Engineering Education Center, and took part in the tour of the Information Technology Center. At the Information Technology Center, they learned about NITech network facilities and  thin client information infrastructure system, and exchanged opinions with the Technical Support Division's staff, Principal Technical Specialist, Mr. WAKAMATSU Shinzo and Technical Specialist, Mr. HATTORI Takaya.
Afterwards, they had an opportunity to know the actual operation of the thin clients with thestaff of Academic Affairs Division and Accounting Division. It had a meaningful chance to exchange opinions for them.

Last year, a NITech master's student studied at the university to do a research internship, and some students will study there this year. We have been engaged in active student exchanges.
We would like to continue expanding our exchanges with the university in the future.
