Global

Publishing : November 20, 2025

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN), established in 2008, actively promotes academic exchange with Japanese universities. Collaboration between IITGN and Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) began with faculty research exchanges. Through continuous interaction, a strong partnership has been built, leading to the conclusion of an Agreement for Academic Exchange and Cooperation and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a Student Exchange Program. With this partnership, IITGN becomes the fourth IIT to establish a formal partnership with NITech.

These agreements are expected to further enhance student and faculty exchanges between the two universities and advance international collaborative research.
