On February 6th, 2026 (Friday), Prof. Dr. J. Sofia Bobby, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, together with 24 students from the Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), a partner institution with which NITech has concluded an academic exchange agreement, visited our university.
CIT is a private university established in 2010 in Tamil Nadu, southern India. It is known for its strong collaborations with industry and has developed deep ties with Japan as well.
NITech and CIT concluded a Memorandum of Understanding for inter-university academic exchange and a Memorandum of Agreement for student exchange in October 2025. It is expected that this visit will further strengthen the relationship between the two universities.
