Dean and Delegation from Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University visit NITech

On Friday, July 31, Asst. Prof. Peerapong Kitipawong, M.D., Dean of the Chulabhorn International College of Medicine (CICM), Thammasat University, together with Assoc. Prof. Piyaporn Surinlert, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Course Coordinator of Electives, and Asst. Prof. Teva Phanaksri, Ph.D., Course Coordinator of Electives, visited Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech).
Thammasat University, headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, was founded in 1934 and is one of the country's leading comprehensive universities, offering a wide range of academic disciplines including law, political science, engineering, and medicine. NITech and Thammasat University signed an Academic Exchange Agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding on Student Exchange in 2004.
During this visit, discussions were held on the current status and future schedule of the student exchange program, which has been actively implemented since 2024, as well as opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration combining engineering and medicine. Information was also exchanged on funding opportunities and support programs available for researchers and students. Both universities reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening their partnership through the renewal of the student exchange agreement and the promotion of academic and research collaboration.
This visit is expected to further deepen the relationship between our universities and contribute to the continued advancement of international collaboration in education and research.
