On November 5^th 2016, the Executive Director (Research Strategy and Evaluation), Prof. Dr. Takatoshi Kinoshita, The Director of NITech Europe Liaison Office, Prof. Dr. Ken-ichi Kakimoto and 2 other Faculty Members attended the 50^th Anniversary Ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering, held at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) in Germany.

At the ceremony, The Dean of Faculty of Engineering at FAU, Prof. Dr. Reinhard Lerch introduced NITech as one of the most important partner within the Faculty of Engineering.

A booth was also setup outside to promote NITech.
