On November 7th, 2019, a delegation from University of Computer Studies, Mandalay（UCSM）visited NITech.

There is an "Application Contest for university students hosted by KDDI Foundation (ACKF)" in Myanmar, and the first prize winner is invited to Japan to participate in JPHACKS, and to visit universities, research institutions and companies in Japan. The ACKF2019 was held in February, Team VoisDev in UCSM successfully won the first prize for creating a speech-support application for hearing-impaired children.

Team VoisDev in UCSM made a courtesy visit to President Dr. Ukai, and there was a meeting with faculties of Department of Computer Science. They also visited Prof. Takayuki Ito laboratory, and Prof. Yutaka Ishibashi laboratory. NITech and USCM are working on concluding an agreement for academic exchange and cooperation.
