Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) concluded Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (Malaysia) on December 21, 2023.

Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (Malaysia) is the first public technical university in Malaysia and number 14^th public university in Malaysia. The exchange started when Prof. Dr. Mohd Fadzli Bin Abdollah of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka contacted Prof. TANEMURA Masaki (Department of Engineering, Physical Science and Engineering) to conduct joint research. In September 2023, JST Sakura Science Exchange Program was conducted by Asst. Prof. HONDA Mitsuhiro (Department of Engineering, Physical Science and Engineering), and students and a faculty member were invited from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. These exchanges led to the conclusion of this memorandum.

From now on, it is expected to promote the development of joint research as well as bilateral student/faculty exchange under the memorandum.
