Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) concluded Agreement for Academic Exchange and Cooperation, and MoU for Student Exchange Program with Chiang Mai University (Thailand) on January 17, 2024.

Chiang Mai University (Thailand) is the first provincial university in Northern Thailand with 20 faculties, including faculty of engineering and of medicine. A joint research, a faculty member at Chiang Mai University and Professor KANNO Atsushi (Department of Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering) participate in, was selected for the JST/e-ASIA Joint Research Program, and that led to the conclusion of this agreement.

Under these agreements, it is expected to promote exchanges of students and research collaboration between NITech and Chiang Mai University, and further internationalization of NITech.
