One staff member of NITech participates in the Erasmus+ Programme with Poznan University of Technology (PUT), Poland

Publishing : September 19, 2024

PUT, as Higher Education Institution from Programme Countries, is coordinating the International Credit Mobility(ICM) Programme within Erasmus+* and invited Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) to participate in ICM Programme, as a partner university in consideration of the results of the long collaboration between late Prof. Krzysztof Kozlowski (PUT Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering) and Prof. MORITA Yoshifumi (NITech Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Group).

From July 1 to 5, 2024, one staff member of NITech participated in the Erasmus+ Programme with PUT.

During her participation in the Erasmus+ Programme, she toured Poznan in which PUT is located, visited lecture rooms, library, and laboratory in PUT, and met administrative staff of PUT, including staff of the Erasmus+ Office, Ms. Justyna Stanoch, a staff member of Dean's office of the Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering, and Prof. dr hab. Alina Dudkowiak, Director of the Doctoral School. Also, she had a briefing at the Dean's office and a meeting with the Director and faculty members, Assistant Prof. Dariusz Janiszewski and Prof. MORITA, who was in Poznan to attend the international workshop "RoMoCo24". At the meeting, she deepened her understanding of the higher education system in Poland and exchanged views on the future collaboration between PUT and NITech with them. By participating in the programme, she had a very meaningful opportunity to interact with the university staff who are in the same position as her and gain new insights into the development of NITech.

In 2006, starting from department level partnerships between PUT and NITech, we concluded university level partnerships in 2018, and we have had active joint research exchanges mainly by both faculty members. In the future, it is expected that this administrative staff exchange will deepen exchanges and strengthen relationship between the two universities.

* Erasmus+ Programme: As the EU's main education support program, it supports the exchange of students and staff between European and non-European universities.
