On October 30, 2024, a delegation led by Prof. Dr. LONG Wujian, Executive Dean of College of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University (SZU), in China, visited Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech) and a signing ceremony was held for a departmental-level academic exchange agreement.
Founded in 1983, Shenzhen University is a comprehensive university with 27 schools and colleges, located in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, has established exchange and cooperative relationships with 290 overseas universities and institutions in 55 countries and regions, and has an overseas branch campus in Tokyo.
NITech and College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University have conducted exchanges, including the implementation of a joint research project under Japan-China Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation. Recently, Shenzhen University proposed concluding an academic exchange agreement, which led to this signing ceremony.
It is expected that the conclusion of this agreement will further promote educational and research exchanges between NITech and College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University.
