Shodo - calligraphy

Dr. Ayhan Muhammed EMRE (Turkey) was holding his doctorate and smiling with his wife.
The president and his professor congratulated his achievement.
The title of his thesis is "Synthesis of Graphene by Chemical Vapor Deposition and Solid Phase Reaction Process towards Next Generation Energy Device Applications"

The Asia Pacific Robot Contest in India

NIT Robocon Studio as a representative for Japan has won second place in The Asia Pacific Robocon Contest in Pune, India. The winner is the Lac Hong University, Vietnam.

SHISEIDO Science Cafe

Assistant Prof. Reina Miyagawa was awarded SHISEIDO female researcher science grant as one of top 10 Japanese female leading researcher.
SHISEIDO and NITech organised a science café to promote a spirit of science and innovation to young generations.

37th Japan International Birdman Rally

Due to the strong wind, the rally was unfortunately cancelled.

Excursion to Ise Shirine and Shima Spain Village

45 students including 35 international students and 10 Japanese students enjoyed an excursion to Ise Jingu (Shrine) and Shima Spin Village in Mie Pref. with a purpose of multicultural exchange.

33 international students enjoyed the Japanese Tea Ceremony lesson at a Japanese style room of NITech International House. An instructor of Matuo-Ryu gave a professional lesson with an interpreter.

Professor Hideo Hosono, Professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology delivered a lecture titled "Breakthrough from Research on Transparent Oxides".
Prof. Hosono is a leading candidate for the Nobel Prize for his research on iron-based superconductors.
He taught at NITech from 1982 to 1990 and is currently the Invited Eminent Professor.
