Language Training Programs

The University of Manchester language training (UK)

The purpose of this program is to cultivate engineers capable of playing an active role on the global stage through the acquisition of proficiency in highly practical English. The program is offered in joint development with The University of Manchester. Students spend 4 weeks at a student dorm. From 2007 to 2012, 63 students participated in the program.

Marylhurst language training program (U.S.)

The purpose of this program is to cultivate engineers capable of playing an active role on the global stage through the acquisition of proficiency in highly practical English. The program was launched in 2012. Language training classes are held at Pacific International Academy, an ESL School located on the campus of Marylhurst University. The school offers high quality classes, and students spend 4 weeks with a host family. In 2012, 6 students participated in the program. 

Specialized Information, Electrical and Electronic Program

EFREI short-term study abroad program (for undergraduate students)

A one-month study abroad program (in English) for undergraduate students of Information Engineering offered by EFREI specially for NITech. Tuition at EFREI is waived under the Academic Exchange Agreement. Credit approval is also possible. This program runs every March. Maximum number of participants is 20 students (If the number of applicants exceeds 20, selection will be made based on academic achievement and English language skills).

ESIGELEC short-term study abroad program (for postgraduate students)

This is a one-month study abroad program (in English) offered specially to NITech’s postgraduate students specializing in Information, Electrical and Electronics by ESIGELEC, a famous university located in France’s Rouen. Tuition at ESIGELEC is waived under the Academic Exchange Agreement. Credit approval is also possible. The program runs every September. Maximum number of participants is 10 students (If the number of applicants exceeds 10, selection will be made based on academic achievement and English language skills)
