On 29 October, Dr. Michael Nobel delivered a lecture entitled "The innovative genius of the Nobel Brothers and the Nobel Prizes" After President Ukai's welcome speech, Dr. Nobel spoke on the Nobel family's history and the background of the establishment of the Nobel Prize showing monumental pictures. Over 200 participants including Japanese, international students and academic staffs listened to Dr. Nobel's presentation and it was concluded by a question and the answer session.
Dr. Michael Nobel is a member of the Nobel family, a co-founder and former Chairman of the Nobel Charitable Trust.
