Award winner's comments
I am so honored to have received the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Best Student Paper Award. In this study, we adapted a tactile sensor using acoustic reflection developed in our laboratory to palpation of the cervix. In consideration of safety, the sensor is made of silicone rubber entirely. Clinical tests have begun in cooperation with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Akita University School of Medicine, I will continue to advance the research toward a practical application.
Mr.Takahiro Tsuzuki Awarded Best Poster Presentation Award, The 5th International Conference on Molecular Simulation (ICMS 2019).
