On Tuesday, September 11, 2023, a joint workshop between HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD. and Kawamura Laboratory, headed by Associate Professor Hironobu Kawamura, was held for 1st to 3rd year undergraduate students of the Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Industrial Management Engineering (Field of Systems Management and Engineering), at Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech).

Kawamura Laboratory and HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD. held a similar workshop last academic year. Last year's workshop was opened only to students of Kawamura Laboratory, but this year the workshop was opened to 1st to 3rd year undergraduate students in the Field of Systems Management and Engineering.

NITech's Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Industrial Management Engineering (Field of Systems Management and Engineering), conducts practical research and education under the banner of "fusion of management engineering and data science. " Held under the theme of "Thinking about new value sought in cars," the workshop provided a valuable learning opportunity for students to experience, together with Honda employees, the new product planning process and HONDA-style group work.
