At the Aichi Forum 2026, Associate Professor ITO Yosuke gave a poster presentation on a technology that removes pollen from entering through windows by combining positively and negatively charged a wire mesh and using it as a screen. It was then voted number one among 46 presentations by attendees.

Associate Professor ITO Yosuke commented that he would like to use this as momentum to steadily advance his research towards the social implementation of screen doors that capture pollen using electrostatic charges.
