"Cogging Torque Cancellation by Combination of Multiplying Wave Magnets in Axial Gap Motor"
This paper proposes cogging torque cancellation method by optimizing the arrangement of multiplying wave magnets in double axial gap motor. This motor has attracted attention as an innovative motor because it can achieve both flat structure and high torque density. By applying the proposed method, cogging torque has been successfully reduced by 94% while maintaining almost the same torque compared to the conventional model.
The proposed motor can achieve "small size, high torque density and extremely low vibration" and contribute to higher performance of equipment.
