"Examination and Evaluation of Robot-Guided Evacuation Method Considering Congestion at Stairs"
This research aims to make use of congestion on staircases to enable safer and quicker evacuation during indoor evacuation guidance at universities and other institutions. Based on our existing results, we propose a method of using congestion for more efficient evacuation. Experiments were carried out using a multi-agent simulation to simulate a disaster in the University's Building 2, and showed that the proposed method of evacuation guidance is faster and safer than the existing method.
