The 61st NITech Festival Held!
Category:News|Publishing : February 7, 2024
The 61st NITech Festival was held on November 18 and 19 on the Nagoya Institute of Technology Gokiso Campus.
This year, for the first time in four years, the event was held without COVID-19 restrictions and had 3,871 visitors over the two days.
The theme of the festival this year was "Canvas". We saw this year as an opportunity for the NITech Festival to regain its former form and further develop, as this year people's lives began to return to their pre-coronavirus state. The theme was chosen likening the opportunity to painting on a blank canvas for as many people as possible to enjoy the next edition of the NITech Festival.
At the venue, there were more than double the number of refreshment booths than last year. Many events were held, including a collaboration stage between a radio station and the NITech Festival, COLLEGE FESTA COLLECTION NIT IDOL FES 2023, and many visitors participated. In addition, the Laboratory Tour, where you could learn about Nagoya Institute of Technology's cutting-edge research through exhibitions and tours, was very popular, and programs run by extracurricular activities groups and clubs also attracted many visitors.
At the after-party, a NITech dance event and the customary projection mapping were held, and the images projected on the library walls captivated the audience.
