"Low Scan-loss Multi-beam Lens Antenna Fed by Horns with Separated Phase Centers in E/H-planes"
In recent years, the development of wireless technology in the sub-terahertz band has progressed rapidly. Multi-beam lens antennas have gained attention for communication in this frequency range. Conventional multi-beam lens antennas have a problem of significantly decreased gain during wide-angle beam-scanning. This research solves this issue. The multi-beam lens antenna capable of wide-angle beam-scanning was developed.
Award winner's comments
I am so honored to have received such an amazing prize. I had the valuable experience of presenting both in a poster session and an oral session, engaging in Q&A discussions with researchers in English. I think this award would not have been possible without the guidance of Professor Kunio Sakakibara and Assistant Professor Yoshiki Sugimoto, as well as the support of all the members of my laboratory. I am deeply grateful for their help. I will continue to dedicate myself to research so that I can contribute to the further development of this field in the future.
