This award recognizes the continued progress in the social deployment of research results even after the completion of the Strategic Information and Communications Research and Development Promotion Project (SCOPE Project), "Research and Development of a Medical Implant Communication Device Capable of High-Speed and Highly Reliable Communication to Deep Inside the Body Using Low-Power Radio Frequency Bands," which was implemented from 2018 to 2021.
This research aims to establish a technology that enables stable wireless communication with deep inside the body while minimizing the impact on the human body, and has been conducted with a view to applications in the medical field.
On March 2nd, an award ceremony was held in the university president's room, where Mr. ISO Toshio, Director-General of the Tokai Regional Bureau of Telecommunications, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, presented the commemorative plaque.
