Professor TANAKA Yoshihiro is focusing on body integration and skill transfer based on the cooperative operation of robot avatars by multiple people. He is researching a system that supports skill acquisition while maintaining a sense of agency by fusing forceps operation data from skilled operators with operator input.

At this conference, the novelty and effectiveness of the proposed method, which adjusts speed and control ratios in response to operational differences, were highly recognized, leading to the receipt of this award.
