The 34th International Japan-Korea Seminar on Ceramics,
Best Poster Presentation Award
Japan-Korea Seminar on Ceramics has been held yearly since 1984 in order to promote the exchange of science and technology of ceramics especially between Asian countries. Among 100 poster presentations, Ms. JEONG Sumin, the title of her presentation was "Alkaline-earth metal ion dependence of H+ implantation in phosphate glasses monitored by in-situ electrochemical FT-IR analysis", received a Best Poster Presentation Award. She successfully observed for the first time about proton implantation dynamics by utilizing her originally developed in-situ FTIR analyzer.
SUMIN's comments
I am very honored to receive such an important award. I greatly appreciate the support of my supervisor, Asst. Prof. Daiko. Especially, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Prof. Iwamoto who give me kind advices for preparing the presentation. In this study, a new approach is taken for investigating the proton conducting glass. I will try my best to contribute to the material design for fast proton conducting glass.
