Student Best Paper Award

Takumi Sato "Fully Automatic Classification of Open-ended Questionnaire"

The enormous cost of classifying free-description opinions in questionnaires is a substantial problem for local governments. To solve this, we propose an approach that implements a system of unsupervised automatic classification for open-ended opinions answered in the free-description field of questionnaires.

Student Outstanding Paper Award

Soichiro Kuroyanagi "Human Action Recognition in Telework Environments using YOLOv5"

Due to the spread of COVID-19 infection, more and more companies are recommending telework. Telework has the problem that it is difficult to manage employees and grasp the work status. In order to deal with this, we proposed a method to classify telework operations from videos into "PC work", "call", "write", "stretch", "sleep", and "others" by applying the object detection method.
