"Development of a monitoring system for encrypted data by OPC UA"

The international conference "10th IIAI International Congress on Advanced Applied Informatics" was held online from July 11th (Sun) to 16th (Fri). The paper "Development of a monitoring system for encrypted data by OPC UA" submitted by Toshiaki Honda (Hashimoto Laboratory) of the Department of Industrial Management Engineering received the "Honorable Mention Award". This paper proposes a method for monitoring communication data of the next-generation communication standard OPC UA recommended by Industry 4.0, which is attracting attention worldwide

Award winner's comments

OPC UA has been attracting attention worldwide since it was evaluated by the Federal Cyber Security Authority (German Government BSI) in 2015 and became an industry-standard communication standard. In overseas projects, the number of cases where OPC UA support is added to the requirements increases. Therefore, we would like to continue researching to be used safely and securely in terms of operation.
